High School Equivalency Options
GED® Classes (General Educational Development)
Classes are offered for adults, 18 years of age and older, who want to prepare for the GED® Test. Registration for the Official GED® Test must be done in advance.
Ask the Adult & Career Education representatives for GED testing dates, times, and locations.
Adult High School Diploma Classes
Adults who did not complete high school are offered the opportunity to earn credits towards high school completion. Classes may include:
- Algebra
- English
- Geometry
- U.S. Government
- Virginia/U.S. History
Transcripts will be requested (fees apply) and graduation requirements will be determined. Standards of Learning (SOL) test scores must be verified.
Other Educational Opportunities
English for Speakers of Other Languages (ESOL)
Adults needing to learn and/or improve basic English in the following areas:

Adult Basic Education (ABE)
